 Check the eligibility criteria carefully concerning the course you are applying for.

 Fill out and send in your application.

 Pay your application fee.

 Follow your application status through your registered mail.

 Receive and print out your Notification of Selection Results and course fee details, then proceed for the provisional admission letter.

 Pay your provisional admission fee against your application number.

 Follow the instructions and time bounds mentioned in the provisional admission letter to get a confirmed admission letter.

Physiotherapy

Eligibility

BPT ( Bachelor in Physiotherapy)

  • The candidate should have passed 12th grade (12th Standard) with Science subjects: Physics Chemistry Biology
  • Minimum Marks Requirement: A minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the above subjects from any recognized board.
  • Recognized Boards: Goa Board Maharashtra Board CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) Open Universities recognized by the Government of India

 Notes:

  • Candidates should have completed 12th grade with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from a recognized educational board.
  • Internship: After completing 4 years of academic studies, candidates must complete a 6-month compulsory internship as part of the course requirement.

Pharmacy

Eligibility

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D – 6 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have passed the PUC / 10+2 / PDC / Intermediate / Higher Secondary Examination in Science, conducted by the respective state/central government authorities and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to the 10+2 examination.
  • English must be one of the subjects, and the candidate should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M), and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B) as optional subjects.

Note:

  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

B. Pharm Lateral Entry (Direct Entry to the Third Semester)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A pass in the D. Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Note:

  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) & Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate – 3 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A B. Pharmacy degree with an aggregate score of not less than 55% (calculated across all four years of B. Pharm).

Management

Eligibility

MBA in Aviation and Airport Management (2 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a BBA Degree in Aviation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
  • The degree must be obtained after completing the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern of education.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 45% in the undergraduate program is generally required (may vary based on the institution’s specific requirements).
  • Preference may be given to candidates with prior knowledge or background in aviation or related fields.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) (2 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must possess any Graduation Degree (such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, B.Tech, or equivalent) from a recognized university or institution.
  • The degree must be obtained following the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 education pattern.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% in the undergraduate program is typically required, with some institutions offering relaxed criteria (e.g., 45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Some institutions may require candidates to have a valid score in entrance exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT, or their own internal exams.

MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (2 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold any Graduation Degree from a recognized university or institution.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Business Administration (BBA), Engineering, Commerce (B.Com.), Science, or any other relevant field is acceptable.
  • The degree must follow the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 educational pattern.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% in the undergraduate program is generally required, with some institutions offering a relaxed eligibility score for certain categories (e.g., 45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Some institutions may require candidates to have relevant work experience or a good score in entrance exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT, or the institution’s own entrance exam.

Nursing

Eligibility

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have passed 10+2 in English and obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board.
  • Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government are also eligible.
  • The science stream is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Eligibility:

  • 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks in the Vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks in the Vocational Stream – Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Central Board.
  • Registered ANM with a pass mark.

Note:

  • Minimum age: 17 years (as of 31st December of the admission year).
  • Maximum age: 35 years.
  • For ANM/LHV, there is no upper age limit.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination or equivalent, recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as science subjects.
  • Must have obtained at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.
    • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, the minimum required marks are 40% in science subjects and English.

Vocational Course Students:

  • 10+2 vocational course of the State Government of Kerala with five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, along with vocational subjects, is considered equivalent to the +2 Examination/Karnataka Pre-University Course (from the academic year 2005-06 onward).
  • Marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be considered for assessing eligibility as per the ordinances governing the Basic B.Sc Nursing course of RGUHS (Notification No: RGUHS/SEF/EC.B.Sc Nsg/191/2005-06 dated 18.05.2006).

Note:

  • Candidates must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.

Post Certificate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (P.C.B.Sc Nursing)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • Should have at least two years of experience in a hospital or community health nursing.
  • Must have passed the Pre-University Examination in Arts/Science/Commerce, conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka, or its equivalent recognized by RGUHS.

Note:

  • Candidates must not exceed 48 years of age on 31st December of the admission year.

M.Sc. Nursing (2 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B. B.Sc.) from a recognized university or institution.
  • The degree must be obtained after completing the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 education pattern.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • A minimum aggregate score of 55% marks in the qualifying degree (B.Sc. Nursing/P.B. B.Sc. Nursing) is typically required.
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC), a minimum of 50% marks may be acceptable, depending on the institution.

Note:

  •  The candidate should be at least 20 years of age at the time of admission.
  • There may be a maximum age limit of 35-40 years for certain institutions, especially for in-service nurses or candidates applying through a government quota.

LAW

Eligibility

Karnataka School of Law

LLB – Bachelor of Law (3-Year Full-Time Program)

Program Overview:

  • The LLB program is a three-year, full-time graduate degree in Bachelor of Law, affiliated with Bangalore University.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline, with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the minimum required aggregate is 40% marks.

UG Courses

Eligibility

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have passed two years of PUC or an equivalent examination in Science or Commerce streams, with a minimum of 35% marks.
  • Candidates who have passed JODC or a Diploma in Engineering, with at least 35% aggregate marks across all semesters, are also eligible.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed 12th Grade (or equivalent) from a recognized board or institution.
  • The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary exam with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks in aggregate. Some institutions may offer a relaxation of 5% for candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation & Airport Management (BBA Aviation & Airport Management) – 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed 12th Grade (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 45% to 50% marks in the Higher Secondary exam is required for general-category students. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, a minimum of 40% marks may be acceptable.

Students from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, & Bhutan

Eligibility Criteria:

  • GCE/JGCSE/GCSE Certification, with passes in a minimum of TWO subjects at ‘O’ level and TWO subjects at ‘A’ level.
  • A Pass Certificate (12 years) in any discipline recognized by the national-level board or council of the respective country.

Foreign Students

Eligibility Criteria:

  • GCE/JGCSE/GCSE Certification, with passes in at least FIVE subjects at ‘O’ level and TWO subjects at ‘A’ level.
  • A Pass Certificate/Diploma from a Secondary Stage Level Examination (12 years) in any discipline, recognized by the national-level board or council of the respective country.

PG Courses

Eligibility

Master of Business Administration (MBA) (2 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

Allied Health Science

Eligibility

B.Sc. (MLT) – Medical Laboratory Technology (3 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pre-University Examination (PUC) / 12th Grade: Candidates must have completed 12th Grade (PUC) or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Pre-Degree Course (PDC):Candidates who have completed a Pre-Degree Course (Two years after 10 years of schooling) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects of study, from a recognized university, are eligible.

Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE):

  • Candidates who have completed the Vocational Higher Secondary Education course conducted by the Government of Kerala, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects in addition to vocational subjects, are considered equivalent to the 12th Grade qualification from the Government of Karnataka Pre-University Course.

Diploma Holders (2-3 years):

  • Candidates with a two-year diploma from a recognized Government Board in a related subject (e.g., MLT) are eligible if they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology during their studies.
  • Three-year diploma holders must also have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as principal subjects during their studies.

Note:

  • The candidate shall have passed individually in each of the subjects.
  • Candidates who have completed diploma or vocational course through correspondence shall not be eligible for any of the courses mentioned above.

B.Sc (IT) – Information Technology (3 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pre-University Examination (PUC) / 12th Grade: Candidates must have completed 12th Grade (PUC) or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (preferably) or any other stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%-50% marks.
  • Candidates who have completed the Pre-Degree Course (Two years after 10 years of schooling) from a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or similar subjects), are also eligible for admission.

Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE):

  • Candidates with the Vocational Higher Secondary Education course from the Government of Kerala, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as subjects, are eligible.

Diploma Holders (2-3 years):

  • Candidates with a two-year diploma from a recognized Government Board in a related field (e.g., Computer Science or IT) are eligible for admission if they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics during their studies.

B.Sc Renal Dialysis Technology (3 Years)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pre-University Examination (PUC) / 12th Grade: Candidates must have completed 12th Grade (PUC) or equivalent from a recognized board with  Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (preferably) or any other stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%-50% marks.
  • Candidates who have completed the Pre-Degree Course (Two years after 10 years of schooling) from a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or similar subjects), are also eligible for admission.

Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE):

  • Candidates who have completed the Vocational Higher Secondary Education course conducted by the Government of Kerala, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects in addition to vocational subjects, are considered equivalent to the 12th Grade qualification from the Government of Karnataka Pre-University Course.

Diploma Holders (2-3 years):

  • Candidates with a two-year diploma from a recognized Government Board in a related subject (e.g., Renal Dialysis Technology or Medical Laboratory Technology) are eligible if they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as principal subjects.

Note:

  • Candidates should generally be between 17 and 25 years at the time of admission. Age limits may vary as per the university’s policy.

Paramedical Courses

Eligibility

DMLT / DMXT / DOTT / DOT: Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification:

  • Candidates should have passed II PUC (Pre-University Course) or 12th Grade with Science subjects: Physics Chemistry Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) or Chemistry, Botany, Zoology (CBZ)
  • For Diploma in Medical Records Technology, candidates can have II PUC with any optional subjects (Science/Arts/Commerce).
  • SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate): Candidates with SSLC qualification are eligible for Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DOT).
  • Typing/Computer Skills: Preference will be given to candidates who are trained in English Typing or have basic computer knowledge.

PUC

Eligibility

Secondary School Examination (Grade 10):

  • The candidate must have passed the Secondary School Examination (Grade 10), which is recognized by any of the following examination boards:
  • State Boards (Conducted by respective state education boards)
  • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
  • Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)
    (Includes ICSE / ISC examinations)
  • Any other equivalent examination conducted by an India Government-approved board.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • Candidates must meet the minimum passing marks as per the board they have appeared for the Grade 10 examination.

 

CBSE School

Eligibility

Kindergarten:

  • Direct admission with age proof certificate and Aadhar card of the child.

Grade I to IX:

  • Students promoted to the subsequent class are eligible for admission on submission of Transfer / School Leaving Certificate (TC) duly countersigned by the appropriate authority, Aadhar card and the marks sheet of the lower class. TC if not submitted at the time of joining, is to be submitted within 30 days of joining, failing which the student is liable for withdrawal. Students seeking admission in to Grade IX must have studied three languages in Grade VIII.
  • KPS facilitates good network of administrators and academicians who can be contacted by the parents. Parents would find it convenient to contact the right person specified to get the appropriate response.
  • KPS invites families to visit at any time while school is in session. Visits typically include a student-led tour and an interview with an admissions coordinator. To arrange a visit call the admissions office at the specified phone numbers.
  • On admission confirmation, the following documents should be submitted within the stipulated date to the school.
    •  Birth Certificate from the Municipal Corporation / Civic Authorities
    • A copy of the latest progress report certified by the school in which the student last studied ( if applicable )
    • 2 individual passport size colour photographs of the students and the parents to be enclosed
    • Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate
    • A copy of Aadhar card of candidate and parents.
